Origin: Southernmost United States, Mexico, Central America and South America

The King swallowtail, is are very strong flier and is able to glide long distances with very few wing beats, thanks to it’s large wingspans. Covered with beautiful yellow bands with a strong black contrast, the King is not to be missed, in the big family of Papilionidae, that include over 550 species. Spending year round in the tropics, feeding on delicious nectar of a variety of flowers.
