Description: This is a large moth measuring approx 100mm and located in North tropical Queensland Australia from the family Uraniidae. The adult moths colourations range from black with iridescent bands of yellow and/or pink. The larvae feed on Omphalea queenslandia and Omphalea papuana. They can be seen feeding on nectar and rest with their wings out.
